MerchCommander organises the work of retail merchandising teams: planning visits by area and store, confirming presence at the shelf from photos, and validating promotions at the shelf.

How it works

1. The merchandiser arranges the shelf in the store.
2. At the end they take a photo. The photo is the proof that the work was done.
3. The photo reaches the app, linked to the store, to the merchandiser and to the time it was taken.
4. The app counts the facings in the photo.
5. Coordinators receive reports: presence in stores, promotions, visits, tasks and the facings counted.
6. Photos are validated automatically, with the help of AI.

Promotions

Promotions are entered centrally, for each retail chain, in an Excel-type format. Every merchandiser sees them at check-in, in the store they are entering.

Monitoring photos from the field

The coordinator sees how many photos came in from the field over the past 7 days, the success rate, the average upload time and the errors, by type. If a merchandiser's phone is stuck with photos in the offline queue, the queue is reset remotely, without the person coming to the office.
